Agentive's Monetization
Understand Agentive's Usage-Based Pricing Plan.
In October 2024 Agentive released it's usage-based pricing model, read our Blog Post for more details. Agentive now offers two tiers of usage:
Tier 1: Required to Sign up and use Agentive
1) Pay for a ChatGPT Plus subscription ($20 USD per month) : https://chatgpt.com/#pricing
2) Add Credits to your OpenAI account to enable the Assistants API (Roughly $5 USD): https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/billing/overview
We highly recommend you enable "Auto Recharge" on your OpenAI account. This way your credits will be automatically topped up when they go below a certain dollar amount.
This allows you to sign up and access Agentive, however you will be restricted to only send 200 messages per month. 1 message counts as (a question from user + response from AI). Once you have sent 200 messages all Agents will go offline and you will not be able to send messages on Agentive. Your free messages will reset one month from the day your subscription is created (not at the beginning of the month). Estimated Monthly Costs for Tier 1 Usage (200 messages per month)
$20 for OpenAI Plus Subscription
$2 of usage costs for 200 messages sent via the Assistants API
Total = $22 USD
Tier 2: Agentive Usage Based Plan
In order to get unlimited access to Agentive you must put down your card details on our Settings page. Once your 200 free messages have been used you will automatically transition to our paid plan which costs $0.05 USD per message sent (question from user + response from AI). Once your subscription renews for the month, you will switch back to using your free messages until the limit is exceeded again.
Estimated Monthly Costs for Tier 2 Usage (Assuming 1000 messages per month)
$20 for OpenAI Plus Subscription
$10 for 1000 messages sent via the OpenAI Assistants API
$40 of Agentive usage for 800 messages (1000 - 200 free messages)
Total = $70 USD
If you wish to cancel your Agentive subscription, you can do this from the Settings page.
